KIM Dy is urging the La Salle Lady Spikers to work harder after regaining the top spot in the UAAP women’s volleyball standings, stressing there is much work to be done in their quest for a third straight crown.

La Salle defeated University of the Philippines in straight sets for their seventh win in nine matches, moving ahead of idle National University at 6-2.

“Siguro there are times na kulang pa because there are times na malaki ’yung lamang, hahabol ‘yung mga lumalaban, so that’s one thing we’re working on pa lang. It’s a work in progress,” she said.

The Lady Spikers have a tough next assignment against third-running Far Eastern University before taking on No. 7 University of the East and tailender University of Sto. Tomas, and Dy said they are not taking anyone lightly.

“Inside the court, you treat each team equally, walang mahina, walang malakas, preparation for every team will be the same so ‘yun,” said the La Salle veteran.

“We take it one step at a time so game per game, continue improving sa ano ang kulang sa amin. From there, laban (lang),” she added.
