THE La Salle Lady Spikers simply won't be denied.
La Salle fought back from a Game One loss by dispatching Adamson, 25-19, 25-22, 25-17, and emerging as the inaugural Shakey’s Super League National Invitationals champion at the FilOil EcoOil Centre on Sunday.

Newly minted Lady Spikers captain Julia Coronel orchestrated the title-clinching charge with 12 excellent sets on top of three markers.

On top of its 12th UAAP title three months ago, the Lady Spikers have now won two of three conferences in the SSL’s first season — the collegiate pre-season tournament in November and the national invitationals nine months later.
After a convincing first-set win, La Salle pulled away to a commanding 16-5 start to the second frame and never looked back.
A late Adamson fightback couldn't deny the in-form Lady Spikers of another straight-sets romp after losing the opener of the best-of-three series.
