LA Salle ended a two-match skid with a 25-14, 25-20, 19-25, 25-21 victory over University of the East on Wednesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Raymark Woo had 24 points including three blocks as the Green Spikers notched their second win in five games.
UE is winless in five games.
La Salle was coming off a 25-27, 16-25, 20-25 drubbing at the hands of National University.
The Red Warriors led, 18-16, in the fourth before La Salle then gained some steam when Rjay Onia tied the match at 20-all with a quick hit before a UE error gave the Green Spikers the lead, 21-20.
