LA Salle-Dasmarinas has done it again as it turned back their rivals on two fronts to clinch the men’s and women’s crowns of the 11th Universities and Colleges Athletic Association (UCAA) volleyball tournament.
The Patriots leaned on the booming serves of Louie Dimapilis in the final set and the all-around play of MVP Abdulwahab Al-Frasin to repulse the Olivarez College Sea Lions, 25-17, 25-19, 22-25, 25-17 and keep the men's crown of this tournament supported by Mikasa and Molten Balls.
The win allowed the Patriots to sweep their best-of-three finals showdown with the Sea Lions at the Central Colleges of the Philippines gymnasium in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
Last Wednesday, the Patriots took Game One, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-22.
