Kim Fajardo stars as La Salle whips St. Benilde to rule Philippine National Games volleyball tournament

LA Salle claimed the 2015 Philippine National Games women’s volleyball title, beating College of St. Benilde, 25-21, 25-15, 25-7, on Thursday morning at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Lady Spikers never dropped a set in five matches on the way to the title, moving all the way to the top this time after finishing runner-up to Air Force last year.

Kim Fajardo and Justine Tiu scored seven points each, while Mika Reyes added six for La Salle.
Fajardo was named Most Valuable Player as the Lady Spikers, captured most of the individual awards.

Cyd Demecillo was adjudged Best Outside Hitter, while Tiu won the Best Opposite Hitter award. Reyes was named Best Middle Blocker.

Jewel Lai and Princess Gaiser of bronze medalist University of the Philippines were named Best Setter and Best Libero, respectively.
