Dawn Macandili had 21 digs and six excellent sets, while Desiree Cheng registered eight digs and 14 excellent receptions.
“Key factor siguro ’yung paging aggressive nila sa floor defense and sa blocking so ’yung first set medyo close hanging huli so may mga breaks lang ang first set,” said La Salle coach Ramil de Jesus.
Jorelle Singh scored 12, while Jaja Santiago added nine points for NU.
The Lady Bulldogs’ win run ended at two and now share fourth spot with Far Eastern University at 5-4.
