ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — Kerri Walsh Jennings broke the AVP Tour women's record Sunday (Monday, Manila time) with her 67th victory on the professional beach volleyball circuit.

The three-time Olympic champion teamed with April Ross to beat Brooke Sweat and Lauren Fendrick, 19-21, 21-15, 15-11, in the St. Petersburg Open final at Spa Beach Park.

Walsh Jennings passed retired teammate Misty May-Treanor for the AVP record and also won her record 115th worldwide title. The win was Walsh Jennings' fifth victory and second on the AVP Tour since partnering with Ross in September.

"It's really special," Walsh Jennings said. "That's my job. That's what I want to do. I'm addicted to it."

Brad Keenan and John Mayer won the men's event, beating Jake Gibb and Casey Patterson 16-21, 21-19, 18-16.

Keenan and Ross became the third husband-wife duo to sweep an AVP tournament. Walsh Jennings and Casey Jennings have done it three times, most recently at last year's Manhattan Beach Open, and Mike and Patty Dodd accomplished the feat four times.
