JOHN Vic de Guzman will give hosting and acting a try while waiting for a contract with a club team.
The prolific spiker, who suited up for PLDT in the Premier Volleyball League, will focus on his showbiz career while he’s currently a free agent.
As of posting time, De Guzman has yet to renew his contract with his club team that will see action in the PVL Open Conference, which starts on Saturday.
“Volleyball will always be a priority po,” he said. “But this coming conference, I’m still waiting for the final agreement with regards to the contract between my management agency and any team, as of now po we haven’t received any from PLDT, I’m ready to play if possible,” said de Guzman.
Aside from volleyball, de Guzman also does hosting with the Philippine Super Liga and shooting movies on the side.
“If hindi po talaga (ako ma-sign), focus na lang po with doing movies and hosting,” he said.
De Guzman also vowed to still be on top shape as he prepares for the Southeast Asian Games next year in Manila.
“But definitely ill do personal training pa din para makapag try out po ako for the upcoming SEA Games next year,“ he said.
