The Lady Falcons posted their first win over the Lady Maroons since the elimination round of Season 77.

“And so, getting our second win in UAAP Season 80 is, I guess, we've already exceeded our record from last year. It feels good.
“It shows there's been improvement in our program and our team is not a pushover team like last year. We can actually compete,” she added.
The Lady Falcons, who scored eight service aces in the first set, enjoyed a 17-4 lead in the first set before it ballooned to 22-7.
The Lady Maroons erased a five-point deficit to move ahead, 19-18, but the Lady Falcons quickly recovered.
