PLDT Home Ultera defeated Cignal, 25-20, 27-29, 25-22, 25-21, on Sunday for its second win in as many matches in Spikers’ Turf men’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
Jayson Ramos scored 16 points and four others finished in double-figure scoring as PLDT joined Cagayan Valley in the early lead at 2-0.
JP Torres and Mark Gil Alfafara scored 14 each, Henry Pecaña added 12 and Kheeno Franco added 11 for the Ultra Fast Hitters.
Edmar Bonono scored 18 points, Jay de la Cruz added 11 and Red Christensen chipped in with 10 for the HD Spikers, who suffered their second straight loss and joined Fourbees-Cavite in the bottom of the standings.
