SAYING she isn’t focusing on individual stats anymore, National University setter Jasmine Nabor shrugged off the praises even as she got one over Ateneo counterpart Jia Morado.

Nabor played a big role in lifting the National Lady Bulldogs to victory and eclipsed Morado in their first encounter in the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.

She dished out all of the team’s 43 excellent sets and the Lady Bulldogs came up with 49 kills, eight points higher than Ateneo’s 41 from Morado’s 40 excellent sets.

But more than the numbers, Nabor said she’s happy to be able to play at the same level as Morado, a former UAAP best setter.

Nabor also stressed that she’s no longer eying am individual award.

In last year’s V-League Collegiate Conference, she admitted she expected to claim the best setter title but the award was won by Morado.
