JAJA Santiago’s bid to play in Europe will have to wait as she signed on for another season in the Japan SV.League.
This time, she’ll be joining the Denso Airybees where Alas Pilipinas captain Jia de Guzman spent the last two years prior to returning to the country.

“I’ll give my all in every game, with the goal of constantly growing and achieving great results,” Santiago, now Sachi Minowa, said.
“I believe that we can all work together and give you a proud season.”
Santiago last played for Osaka Marvelous in its title-winning 2024-25 campaign before announcing her departure from the team shortly after.
She sought opportunities to play elsewhere, particularly in Europe, but such plans did not materialize.

In Denso, Santiago will form a lethal one-two punch with one of the best opposite hitters in world volleyball today in Brazilian star Rosamaria Montibeller.
The 31-year-old ace, who is currently competing for Brazil in the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Thailand, carries a decorated sporting resume.
Rosamaria is a two-time Olympic medalist, reigning World Championship silver medalist and a three-time South American championship gold medalist.
Albeit listed as a middle blocker, Santiago has also been a force on offense in her previous forays in the Japanese top-flight league.
