JAJA Santiago (Sachi Minowa) is set to part ways with Denso Airybees after just one season with the club in the Japan SV.League.
The multi-awarded 30-year-old middle blocker will exit at the end of the current campaign, marking another stop in her well-traveled and decorated club career in Japan.
Denso is her third team in the top flight of Japanese club volleyball, having played two seasons with Osaka Marvelous, winning a championship last year, and had three separate stints with Ageo Medics earlier in her career.

Her departure also comes almost exactly a year after Alas Pilipinas Women captain Jia de Guzman also bade Denso farewell.

Fellow National University alumna Alyssa Solomon is also set to leave one of Santiago’s former clubs in Osaka at the end of the season after her own one-year stint.
'Irreplaceable learning'
Santiago looked back on her lone season with the Airybees with gratitude.
“Thank you very much for the unforgettable year I spent with Denso Airybees. This season was a rollercoaster-like season with moments of joy and various emotions mixed together. Among them, I was able to make many important memories that lead to irreplaceable learning and the next chapter,” she said on Denso’s official website.
“Thank you very much to all the fans who cheered not only in home games but also in away games. Everyone's support has encouraged us even on difficult days, and the feeling of belief has made all our efforts worthwhile.
“In taking a step forward, with the energy we have received from everyone in mind, I am excited about the future with myself and the team.”
