IVY Lacsina's debut for the Nxled Chameleons may have to wait a bit longer.
The former F2 Logistics ace suffered a right knee sprain in one of her first practice sessions with her new Premier Volleyball League (PVL) club.

"Madaming nangyayari sa akin kasi nagka-injury ako sa tuhod pero getting better naman kasi tinututukan din ako ng mga PTs and siyempre ako as player kailangan ko rin mag-extra work," said Lacsina.
"Humabol sa team pero at the same time si coach Taka (Minowa) naman pinapapalo niya pa rin ako kahit standing lang, service and passing. Hindi naman totally nahuhuli and kaya naman humabol," the former National University star added.

The new PVL season will begin by February 20, but Lacsina's projected return is tentatively slated for March. Such a timetable could be extended or compressed, depending on the progress of her recovery.
"Timeline ko po for return is March pero depende po 'yun sa progress ko kung hanggang saan po siya kaya. Ngayon naman po medyo mas okay na po siya kaya confident kami na kaya humabol siguro hindi lang sa mga first few days pero at the same time yung mga susunod na games," said Lacsina.
Lacsina also added that the nature of her injury upon initial review is a sprain on her right posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) which has significantly affected her movement thus far.
"Sa ngayon medyo may pain pa siya. Sa PCL siya pero sabi ng doctor is mahahabol naman siya and hindi naman ako minamadali," she added.
