EMILIO Aguinaldo College and Jose Rizal University scored contrasting victories on Friday for a rousing start in their men’s volleyball campaign in the Philippine National Games at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Reigning NCAA MVP Howard Mojica led the Generals past University of the Philippines, 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.
The Heavy Bombers on the other hand, needed four sets to turn back Fort Bonifacio High School 25-20, 21-25, 25-17, 25-23.
Also scoring a straight sets win was Eugelio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology over University of Makati, 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.
