SYLVESTER Honrade led the way as Systema turned back erstwhile leader Giligan's, 28-26, 25-23, 25-17, in the men's division of the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix on Saturday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Honrade came up with a game-high 15 points from 10 spikes, four blocks and one service ace, while Angelo Espiritu and Patrick Rojas added 12 and 10 markers, respectively for the Active Spikers.
"Nag-focus lang kami sa receive, 'yun lang ang ginawa naming tama kaya na-straight sets namin ang Giligan's" said Systema coach Kim Rebong.
Systema and Giligan's now have identical 2-1 win-loss records.
JP Torres, who arrived just before the game started, came up with 14 quiet points for Giligan's while John Depante chipped in with 11.
