THE Philippine men's volleyball team made quick work of Macau, 25-16, 25-16, 25-15, in a tuneup match on Sunday at the MOA Arena.
Greg Dolor led the way for the Filipinos with nine points, scoring on a combination play that sealed the match that ushered in the “Battle of the Rivals” featuring La Salle and Ateneo alumni.
Bonjomar Castel also fired nine points while Alnakran Abdilla added six.
Head coach Sammy Acaylar said the match was a big boost before the team leaves for Korea on July 22 for a two-week training camp.
"Big help for big help for us kasi you know this is the first time nabuo yung team sa ganitong arena," said Acaylar.
Ka Him Leong scored 10 for Macau.
