ALAS Pilipinas has named Thea Gagate, Fifi Sharma, and Vanie Gandler as its three reserve players for the 2025 VTV Cup.
Earlier this week, Alas head coach Jorge Souza de Brito bared the final 17-woman lineup to SPIN.ph days before flying to Vinh Phuc in Vietnam for the week-long international tournament.

It has since been decided that two days before the competition, the nationals will set aside two from their six middle blockers and one from their four outside hitters.
Just like the 2025 AVC Nations Cup, the Philippines will field four middle blockers in holdover Dell Palomata and the newcomer trio of Maddie Madayag, MJ Phillips, and Amie Provido.
The scoring core will now feature two-time PVL MVP Brooke Van Sickle and Eya Laure, as well as the former La Salle champion duo of Alleiah Malaluan and Leila Cruz.
There will also be a quartet of setters on hand for Alas in captain Jia de Guzman, Tia Andaya, Lams Lamina, and Mars Alba.
Joining veteran libero Dawn Catindig is national team debutant Justine Jazareno.
The Philippines will begin VTV Cup action on Saturday against host nation Vietnam in a rematch of the 2025 AVC Nations Cup, won by the latter.
Also in Alas’ pool are China’s Sichuan Women’s Volleyball Club and the Australian national team.
