UNIVERSITY of the East is keeping its head high after another loss, believing it is heading in the right direction after an interesting four-set match with National University.
Coach Francis Vicente said he saw positive signs in the Lady Warriors opening match of the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament.
The Lady Warriors won only one match last season, and are looking to do much better.
"Nare-realize na siguro nila na its about time to step up. Although we lost the game, we lost the game gallantly," said Vicente.
It’s how you play the game. Siguro with those words napakita nila na everything has changed," he added.
Vicente admitted the team is yet to hit top form, but is confident they will be able to hit that mark and earn victories.
"Ang susunod na lang dyan, how will they win?
Its only 70 percent pa lang ang nai-inject sa kanila its not yet 100.
The national women’s team coach also believes the performance serves notice the Lady Warriors are on the rise.
Continue lang," said Vicente.
