THE Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup opening games on Saturday will start earlier than originally scheduled after the UAAP Season 78 women's volleyball finals was extended to a deciding match.
The two seniors games feature La Salle and Ateneo against separate teams.
The schedule adjustment means ABS-CBN Sports+Action will be able to air it live before the volleyball title match between the Ateneo Lady Eagles and DLSU lady Spikers set at the Araneta Colisum in the afternoon.
The La Salle Green Archers face the Adamson Falcons at 10 a.m., while the Ateneo Blue Eagles take on University of the East at 12 p.m..
New Adamson head coach Franz Pumaren will face La Salle, the same program he guided to five straight UAAP titles.
The Green Archers are now mentored by Aldin Ayo, who took over after leading Letran to the NCAA crown last year.
Ateneo also has a new coach in Gilas Pilipinas mentor Tab Baldwin
