Greg Dolor topscored for the Tamaraws with 19 points to lift his squad to a 3-1 record in Group A, sharing first place with National University and Perpetual Help.
University of the Philippines downed San Beda, 25-23, 25-19, 25-16, for a 3-1 card in Group B.
Alfred Gerard Valbuena scored 20 points as the Maroons gained a share of second place with University of Santo Tomas.
