UZBEKISTAN outlasted Macau, 19-25, 25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 15-11, on Tuesday to arrange a battle for ninth place against Kazakhstan in the 2015 Asian Under-23 Women’s Volleyball Championship at the Philsports Arena.
Elmira Rajabova and Saida Allamova had 15 points each for Uzbekistan, which will face Kazakhstan on Friday morning.
Kazakhstan won over Maldives in straight sets to reach the match for ninth place.
On Leng Leong scored 25 points for Macau, which sputtered in the end after forcing a final set.
