UST spiker EJ Laure said she is still uncertain when she can return to play, while shooting down rumors about her sitting out the season.
“Depende pa kasi sa sasabihin ng doctor ko kung kelan pwede, kelan niya ako papayagan (maglaro ulit),” she said.
Laure is out of the UST Tigresses for UAAP Season 80 due to a shoulder injury, but talk on opening day centered on pregnancy rumors instead of the timetable for her return to action.
“Siyempre siguro tao din naman sila ,meron silang sariling opinyon. Hindi ko naman maiiwasang wag sabihin sa kanila na, 'wag, 'di ganon. Sa kanila na rin 'yun,” said Laure, who finaly broke her silence after the rumors started late last year.
“Ewan ko kasi parang hindi naman totoo 'yung sinasabi nila and nasa kanila na lang yun, kung ano gusto nilang sabihin,” she said.
“Kasi siyempre tao din naman sila, may sarili silang opinyon,” she added.
