EMILIO Aguinaldo College snapped a three-match skid, downing University of the Philippines, 25-17, 25-23, 25-16, on Monday in the round robin quarterfinals of the Spikers’ Turf Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan.
EAC evened its win-loss record, 3-3, to sit in fourth behind unbeaten co-leaders Ateneo and National University (5-0) and La Salle (3-2).
Howard Mojica again led the Generals with 18 markers after a 35-point performance in a five-set loss to St. Benilde and 41 points in a four-set defeat to Ateneo.
The Generals committed 16 errors, while UP had 30.
Alfred Valbueba scored 18 points for UP, which dropped to 1-4.
