La Salle downs PMMS to forge four-way tie for group lead, NCBA scores first win in Spikers Turf

LA Salle forged a four-team logjam atop Group A after a 25-23, 25-22, 25-22 victory over Philippine Merchant Marine School on Wednesday in the Spikers Turf Collegiate Conference at the Philsports Arena.

The Green Archers scored their third win in four outings, matching idle National University, Far Eastern University, and Perpetual Help.

Mike Fray scored 11, while Cris Dumago had 10 points, all on spikes, for La Salle.

Keyvin Premaylon had 11 points for the Mariners, winless in four outings.

In Group B play, National College of Business and Arts finally nailed its first victory of the conference while keeping Emilio Aguinaldo College winless, 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-23.

Jason Canlas dominated for the Wildcats, scoring 17 of his 19 points on attacks.

The Wildcats hold a 1-3 card, while EAC is at 0-4.
