LA Salle–Dasmarinas kept Arellano University winless, 26-24, 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, and ended its the Spikers’ Turf Collegiate Conference campaign on a high note at The Arena in San Juan on Monday.
Mainstays Eddimar Kasim and Bryan Paul Castro led the Patriots with 16 and 14 points, respectively, while guest players Wilbert Sapida and Alvin Cacayuran chipped in 14 and 11 markers apiece.
LSD needed an hour and 48 minutes to take its lone win of the tournament, snapping a four-game losing slide.
John Cabillan made 14 points for Arellano, while Christian Segovia added 11 and Sanny Carino and Christopher Soriano had 10 markers each.
