FORMER National University star Dindin Santiago-Manabat is confident the Lady Bulldogs will end the slump and get back in contention for the UAAP women’s volleyball title.
Leaders after the first round with a 6-1 card, NU has yet to win in four matches in the second round and has slipped to No. 4.
The Lady Bulldogs, including team captain Jaja Santiago, broke down in tears as they suffered a fourth straight loss, close to falling out of the top four.
But Santiago-Manabat says her sister remains optimistic of their title chances.
NU will have a long break before it takes on University of the Philippines on April 4, University of the East on April 8 and Far Eastern University on April 15.
