BARELY a month after giving birth to her first born, Dindin Santiago-Manabat has found a new team in Foton.
The former Petron star is set to join the Tornadoes once she's ready to come back, reuniting her with younger sister Jaja for the first time since the two led National University to its first Final Four finish in the UAAP in 2014.
"It's been a while since Jaja and I played together for one team. I'm excited to be able to show off our best shots together," said Santiago-Manabat in a statement.
Jaja said she learned about the news a week ago but had to keep it to herself.
"Last week alam ko na, masaya ako kasi magkakasama na kami ulit," said the FIVB World Club Women's Championship-bound middle blocker. "Ok naman siya after manganak pero sabi niya hindi pa daw niya kaya maglaro."
But Jaja is optimistic that Dindin can regain top form in no time.
"Nakita ko naman sa katawan niya na naging easy naman ang panganganak niya kasi lagi siya naglalakad. Okay siya, kaya niya bumalik agad," said Jaja.
