UNIVERSITY of the Philippines routed College of St. Benilde, 25-19, 25-13, 25-19, for bag its second straight win in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference on Monday at The Arena in San Juan.
UP, which started its campaign with a loss to Arellano University, improved its win-loss record to 2-1.
The Lady Maroons joined Arellano and San Beda College in second spot behind unbeaten Adamson University in Group B.
UP scored 38 on attacks against 15 by St. Benilde.
Ranya Musa, Diane Ventura and Pablo each had four markers for the Lady Blazers, who dropped to 0-3 and bowed out of the semifinal race.
