A source told SPIN.ph hours before the final that the Pasay City venue has no tickets left to sell on-site and online.
“Nag-sold out na agad lahat,” the source said.
Reports that tickets in select lower-box sections were allocated to local government units are unconfirmed, but queues were still forming outside the Mall of Asia Arena hours before the title match.

Fans on site were being advised that the priority will be fans redeeming their tickets bought online.
Other patrons were advised to line up without any certainty of still securing tickets.
The last few matches of the knockout stage drew crowds that either touched or surpassed the 10,000-mark, including the thrilling five-set win by Bulgaria against crowd favorite Team USA in the quarterfinals.
Tickets that were sold by as much as P15,000 in the group stages were slashed by half and students were entitled to either free upper box or general admission seats.
