CREAMLINE marched onto the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League quarterfinals following Kazakh club Zhetysu’s straight-sets win over Jordan’s also-ran Al Naser Club.
At 1-1 (win-loss), the Cool Smashers clinched the second seed in Pool A as their Kazakh tormentor was able to complete a two-game sweep of pool play.
Creamline also has the luxury of a two-day break before its first playoff match against either fellow Philippine team PLDT or Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima.
That match will take place on Tuesday at 4 p.m. to close out Pool D action.
A Creamline-PLDT match will be made possible if the High Speed Hitters can take down the six-time Thai champions regardless of how many sets it will take.
Meanwhile, a star-studded playoff duel between the Philippines and Thailand’s winningest teams will take place if the Thai powerhouse completes a two-game sweep of its own in Pool D to clinch the top seed.
For Petro Gazz, tonight’s pool play finale will be a win-or-go home match for the reigning PVL All-Filipino champions against Hong Kong’s Hip Hing to finish Pool B.
