“Fighting will not be condoned by the league. There is absolutely no justification for our players to get involved in fistfights. With this, it should be clear to everyone that instigators, hotheads and troublemakers have no place in the PBA and will be dealt with severely."
The Lady Spikers now look to seal the UAAP women's volleyball title when they battle the Ateneo Lady Eagles in Game Three of the finals on Wednesday at the MOA Arena.
Gametime is at 4 p.m.
"Wala nang rason para matalo ulit kami," he said. "So feeling ko kailangan na namin kapitan itong (panalo) para sa Wednesday."
Ateneo stunned La Salle in the opener of the title series, handing the Lady Spikers their first loss in 30 matches dating back to last season.
But the Lady Spikers fought right back in Game Two and are now a win away from claiming their fourth straight title.
“Wake up call ’yun sa amin para mag-pursige pa,” he said. “Hindi pwede ’yung ganito lang, dapat all out na, Finals na eh.”
Ateneo, meanwhile, needs to win to extend the series to a deciding match.
La Salle is currently tied with University of the Philippines with the third most number of titles with eight. Far Eastern University has 29, while University of Santo Tomas has 14.
