UNIVERSITY of Perpetual Help cruised to its third straight win in the NCAA season 93 women’s volleyball tournament, beating Jose Rizal University, 25-21, 22-25, 25-14, 25-21, on Sunday at The Arena in San Juan.
Lourdes Clemente scored 19 points, while Cindy Imbo added 18 as the Lady Altas improved to 4-1.
The Lady Altas scored a total of 12 service aces in the one hour and 41-minute match.
Dolly Verzosa had 21 points for JRU, which absorbed its second straight loss and third in five matches.
Skipper Shola Alvaraez added 15 points for JRU, which slid to seventh spot.
