CIGNAL's dominant form proved too much for a winless Army side, winning 25-21, 25-20, 25-16 to stay unbeaten through three games in the 2024 PNVF Champions League on Tuesday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
Jacqueline Acuña had herself a breakout game for the tournament's only remaiinng unbeaten team by leading all scorers with 16 points on 11 attacks and five blocks, alongside a steady 13-point night for Ces Molina.

"Kung mapapansin niyo nga, 'yung rotation ng mga tao namin, may mga ni-rest din kami ngayon. Siyempre talagang kailangan ng recovery kasi every day ('yung mga laro) at maging mas ready sa mga susunod na games," said Cignal head coach Shaq Delos Santos.
"More on rotation lang din ng tao para ma-expose din 'yung ibang mga players namin kasi alam naming kaya rin nila gumalaw nang maayos," he added.
The Lady Troopers kept it close in the first two sets but lost steam in the endgame despite Audrey Paran and Jeanette Villareal's best efforts to spark the offense with seven points each.

The HD Spikers look to complete a four-game sweep of the elimination round against College of St. Benilde on Wednesday as Army eyes a graceful exit from the preseason tilt versus Chery Tiggo in two days' time.
"Kailangang mag-perform pa rin kami nang maayos, especially tomorrow na last game ng elimination round (versus Benilde). Dapat makapag-all-out pa rin 'yung team at makapag-perform nang maayos para pagpasok sa semifinals, high morale kami," said Delos Santos.
