CHOCO Mucho blew an early two-set lead and yielded to Vietnam 2, 25-20, 28-26, 21-25, 20-25, 9-15,at the 2023 VTV Cup in Lao Cai on Tuesday.

The Flying Titans dropped to 2-2 (win-loss) ahead of its prelims finale against Korea’s Suwon City on Wednesday, 4 p.m. local time.
Meanwhile, Vietnam 2 bucked a slow start to remain unscathed at 4-0 before battling unbeaten compatriot Vietnam 1.
Sisi Rondina led from the front as Choco Mucho pulled away from a closely contested opening set to gain the early edge.
Down by a set point in a nip-and-tuck second frame, the former UAAP MVP fired the equalizer on top of clutch attacks from Maddie Madayag and Des Cheng for a 28-26 win and a 2-0 set edge.
With the victory already within reach, the Flying Titans squandered a 19-13 lead in Set 3 and lost control early in Set 4 as the Vietnamese side fought back to force a fifth set tiebreak.
From there, Vietnam 2 went on a 6-2 run to complete the comeback.
