CHAMPION Infinity scored its second straight victory, while keeping Instituto Estetico Manila winless, 25-19, 25-23, 25-20, on Monday in the Spikers’ Turf men’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
Joven Camaganakan and Myko Antonio scored 14 points each as the Active Smashers completed the win in one hour and 28 minutes.
It was a huge win for Champion Infinity, coming up with back-to-back wins after dropping its opening-day match to Cagayan Valley. Champion beat Army in its previous match.
Karl de la Calzada scored 11 points, while Evan Raymundo added 10 for IEM.
Cagayan Valley leads with a 4-0 record followed by PLDT at 3-1, Army at 2-2, Champion Infinity at 2-1, Air Force 1-1, Cignal 1-2, IEM 0-3 and Fourbees-Cavite 0-3.
