SKIPPER Cesca Racraquin and top hitter Nieza Viray continued their fine play as San Beda enjoyed a much more comfortable win this time after a shaky opener in the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament.
Racraquin praised her teammates as they made some improvement to score a straight-sets win over Perpetual Help following a tough five-setter against Jose Rizal University.
Viray delivered 20 markers this time after a 19-point performance in against JRU, while racraquin matched her 13-point output in the opener.
Trisha Paras also delivered for San Beda, scoring eight after a three-point output in the first match.
SBC joined defending champion Arellano University and College of St. Benilde at the top with 2-0 records.
