PETRON star Ces Molina will be out of the women’s national team for the Asian Games due to a stress fracture on her left shin.
Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. said it is pulling Molina out of the squad and tapping Cignal middle blocker Mylene Paat for the 18th Asiad next month in Indonesia.
LVPI vice president Peter Cayco clarified that Molina remains with the national pool even as she skips the two-week training in Okayama City in Japan starting August 5 and the tournament set August 16 to September 2 and the .
“For the Asian Games lang (siya di makakasama),” said Cayco. “Meron (siya) injury and nag-submit na ng medical (certificate).”
