The Lady Rising Suns failed to close out the Speed Boosters in straight sets as Pau Soriano suddenly waxed hot and scored four of her 15 points in the third set to extend the match.
PLDT MyDSL actually had a chance to force a deciding set as Soriano scored on a block against Delos Santos to threaten at 23-24. But a rotation error by the Speed Boosters allowed the Lady Rising Suns to clinch the win.
Soriano led the Speed Boosters with 15 markers, while Charmaine Moralde had 12, and team captain Lou Ann Latigay with 10.
