ARMY and Cagayan Valley try to keep their place on top of the standings as they face separate opponents on Wednesday in the Philippine Super Liga at the Philsports Arena.

The Troopers and Rising Suns share the lead with 3-1 win-loss records.

Army is coming off a five-set win over PLDT and will take on cellar-dwelling PCSO Bingo Milyonaryo (1-3) at 4 p.m.

Michelle Carolino, 34, is the Army's main offensive option with Jean Balse, Joanne Bunag, Jacqueline Alarca, Nene Bautista and Tina Salak expected to chip in good numbers.

PCSO Bingo Milyonaryo holds a 1-3 record.

Cagayan Valley, meanwhile, absorbed its first loss of the tournament against PLDT MyDSL last Friday and hopes to bounce back in their 6 p.m. match with Petron.

The Blaze Spikers, who hold a 2-2 record, will bank on veteran spiker Aiza Maizo, fresh graduate Fille Cainglet and team captain Angge Tabaquero.

Meanwhile, PLDT MyDSL and Cignal, on the other hand, will open the tripleheader at 2 p.m.

Pau Soriano, Lou Ann Latigay, Charmaine Moralde and Angela Benting will lead the Speed Boosters (1-3) while the HD Spikers (2-2) will lean on Venus Bernal, Honey Tubino and Danika Gendrauli.
