CIGNAL HD boosted its men’s squad for the 2024 season of the Spikers’ Turf by signing Bryan Bagunas, arguably one of the best-ever hitters in Philippine men's volleyball.
Bagunas to take flight with Cignal HD
The national team mainstay takes his act to the local men's volleyball league after stints in the Japan pro league with Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler, and in Taiwan, where he copped MVP honors while playing for Taichung-based club Win Streak last year.

“Excited ako to begin this new chapter of my career with the Cignal HD Spikers," said the two-time UAAP champion with the NU Bulldogs in a statement released by the club.
"Alam naman natin isa na sila sa pinakakilala at pinakarespetadong teams sa men’s volleyball dito sa Pilipinas, kaya umaasa akong makakatulong ako sa kanilang mahabang listahan ng mga tagumpay,” he added.
According to the team, Bagunas returns to Manila in the summer after fulfilling his commitment in Taiwan.
Cignal HD head coach Dexter Clamor looks forward to having a top-caliber talent like Bagunas in the club's boost to reclaim lost glory after the exit of another standout ace in Rebisco-bound Marck Espejo.
"This 2024, we’re coming back with a renewed squad, may gustong patunayan, at siyempre andun pa rin yung gutom. Grateful kami kay Bryan that he signed with us, and also all our new bloods who will bring in their effort, energy, and lessons to the team."
Clamor added: "Hopefully, we can reach our goals in each tournament because for sure we will fight for every point with every game we play."
