BRYAN Bagunas' sought-after return to the Philippines is already slated for this year after joining the Cignal HD Spikers' men's volleyball team.
The next big question, however, is when he'll stage his comeback in domestic club volleyball.
Cignal head coach Dexter Clamor bared multiple circumstances that still hang in the balance — leaving Bagunas' return date uncertain as it stands.

Kasi if ever na mag-champion sila sa Taiwan, they will represent Taiwan for AVC," said Clamor.

"If not, kung hindi sila mag-champion or hindi sila mag-rerepresent, hopefully makahabol siya sa isang liga namin. Pero for PNVF, wala po siya," he added.
Bagunas had himself an MVP season with Taichung-based club Win Streak last year after his first playing stint in Japan with Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler.
Such an abundance of international experiences, on top of being a longstanding central figure for the Philippine men's national team, is undoubtedly a huge boost to the HD Spikers after the exit of another top-caliber ace in Marck Espejo.
