BELLA Belen has yet to throw her name into the mix for the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft with the May 23 deadline fast approaching.
But since winning the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball title a week ago, the three-time MVP has already made two significant career moves — one for the national team, the other for herself.

The first of which is her return for a second playing stint with Alas Pilipinas.

Belen joined her fellow National U ace and two-time UAAP best setter Lams Lamina in training with the expanded national team pool on Wednesday.
This is in preparation for the 2025 AVC Women’s Volleyball Nations Cup in June as Alas head coach Jorge Souza de Brito starts to trim down his player pool to 14 for the continental meet.
Birds of a feather?
On the same evening of her Alas return, Belen was announced as the newest signing of top talent representation agency VMG Asia.
Its high-profile roster of volleyball stars all share one thing in common: they all have played or are still playing in the PVL.

Among these names are no less than the likes of Alyssa Valdez, Deanna Wong, Ivy Lacsina, Fifi Sharma, Vanie Gandler, Eya Laure, MJ Phillips, Mich Cobb and Dani Ravena.
SPIN.ph previously reported learning about Belen's inclination to enter this year's PVL Draft shortly after the conclusion of UAAP Season 87.
However, she has yet to fully discard seeking options for a possible overseas stint — a path likely to be taken by her co-National U star Alyssa Solomon.

But in terms of the decorated 22-year-old winger's immediate future, there isn't a lot of time left to ponder and decide.
Will we see Belen headline the PVL's second-ever rookie class? In just a matter of days, all will be known.
