BANKO Perlas defeated crowd favorite Creamline, 22-25, 25-16, 25-23, 17-25, 15-11, to kick off its campaign in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference on Saturday in Tuguegarao.
Thai import Jutarat Montripila led the way for BanKo Perlas with 29 points, 13 digs and 10 excellent receptions in the two-hour and 42-minute match.
Kuttika Kaewpin scored 22, Alyssa Valdez had 20 points, while Michele Gumabao added 10 for Creamline, which slipped to 1-1.
