Team captain Thi Minh Do finished with 17 points, from 14 kills, for Thongtin Lien Viet Post Bank, while Nu Ly Linh Tran Ton had 14, Thu Trang Tan added 11 markers.
Vietnam scored 39 kills and limited its errors to nine in a match that took 69 minutes to finish.
Thongtin Lien Viet Post Bank will take on Sarmayeh Bank of Iran in the battle for fifth on Sunday.
Skipper Chiu Ya Hui Chiu scored 13 points Chinese Taipei, which was relegated to the battle for seventh spot against Foton Pilipinas.
