BINAN CITY -- Sarmayeh Bank of Iran pounded T. Grand of Chinese Taipei, 25-14, 25-16, 25-12, in Pool F classification for the quarterfinals placing of the 2016 AVC Asian Women’s Club Championship on Wednesday at Alonte Sports Arena here.
Mahsa Kadkhoda scored 16 points for Iran, which tallied 41 total attack points.
Maedeh Borhani Esfahani finished with 13 points, while team captain Zeinab Giveh added 12 for Iran, which finished third in Pool F and will face Altay VC of Kazakhstan in the knockout quarterfinals on Friday.
Huang Chen-Yu made six points for T. Grand, while Huang Ching-Hsuan and Chen Yu-Chieh registered five points each.
Chinese-Taipei finished finished fourth in Pool F and will take on unbeaten Japan in the quarterfinals on Friday.
