DEFENDING champion Arellano University ripped lowly Lyceum University, 25-16, 25-17, 25-11, to remain unbeaten in the NCAA Season 93 women’s volleyball tournament on Sunday at The Arena in San Juan.
Necole Euben had 11 points, skipper Mary Ann Esguerra, Regine Arocha and Andrea Marzan each had 10 markers in the one hour and nine-minute match.
The Lady Chiefs are alone on top at 5-0.
Arellano outscored the Lady Pirates in attacks, 41-20, and earned 24 points from the Lady Pirates’ errors.
Christine Miralles and Monica Sevilla each had eight points for Lyceum (1-4).
