Thailand outlasts Korea for second consecutive win in Asian U23 Women's Volleyball Championships

THAILAND defeated Korea, 25-18, 25-17, 22-25, 20-25, 15-11, on Sunday night to sweep its group stage matches in the 2015 Asian Under-23 Women’s Volleyball Championship at the Philsports Arena.

Ajcharaporn Kongyot had 19 points, Pimpichaya Kokram fired 14 points, and Chatchu-on Moksri added 13 points for Thailand for a 2-0 record in Pool D.

The Southeast Asian country weathered the 21-point effort of Lee Soyoung as the Koreans dropped to 1-1.

Despite the loss, Korea still advances to the quarterfinal round.
