CREAMLINE salvaged the bronze medal with a 25-20, 11-25, 25-20, 25-19 victory over Power Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena.
Thai import Kuttika Kaewpin had 20 points, all from spikes, while Most Valuable Player Alyssa Valdez added 16 as the Cool Smashers swept the Power Smashers in the best-of-three series.
Creamline won the opener also in four on Saturday.
“We really questioned ourselves and our coaches helped us overcome and may hurdle talaga everytime nilalaro namin ang Power Shmashers,” said the Creamline team captain.
Thai imports Kannika Thipachot and Hyapa Amporn scored 21 and 16 points, respectively, while skipper Jovelyn Prado made 12 markers for Power Smashers.
