ALYSSA Valdez is looking to achieve with Creamline what she failed to do with four previous commercial teams when the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference gets going.
Creamline opens its campaign against Perlas Spikers on April 30 at The Arena in San Juan, giving Valdez another run at a championship after falling short with Ateneo in her final UAAP season, with Customs and Bali Pure in the old V-League and with 3BB Nakornnont in Thailand.
“We're hoping to give our best para sa mga kalaban din namin,” she said.
The Ateneo Lady Eagles wound up second in the UAAP in Valdez's farewell season, Bureau of Customs finished runner-up to Pocari Sweat in the Reinforced Conference, BaliPure went out at the semifinal stage of the V-League Open Conference and 3BB Nakornnont also finished out of the podium in the Thailand League.
Valdez now hopes to finally take a win with Creamline, where she will be joined by 3BB Nakornnont teammate Kuttika Kaewpin and American hitter Laura Schaudt.
Perpetual Help pair Coleen Bravo and Jamela Suyat will also suit up for Creamline with former Ateneo stalwart Aerieal Patnongon, Adamson alum Pau Soriano, San Beda hitter Francesca Racraquin, Jonalyn Ibisa, Joyce Palad, Ivy Remulla and Janet Serfica.
